Systems Support Analyst/ Programmer

The Imaging Systems Administrator manages all aspects of the Imaging Systems including scanners, software and technical coordination with vendors. Responsibilities include ongoing analysis, design, implementation, management, administration and support of imaging systems for business applications and related interfaces, databases and web servers.

• Install and configure software to support applications relating primarily to document imaging, storage and online retrieval.
• Build and maintain templates for mass-production merging of data and forms.
• Build and maintain document scanning processes and scripts.
• Customize imaging software using a variety of programming tools.
• Provide primary user support for imaging systems. Serve as the primary “troubleshooter” for any issues related to imaging systems and coordinate with vendors, IT and department staff in resolving problems.
• Using appropriate software tools and protocols, build and maintain automated handling of data file transfers.
• Maintain security configurations within local applications and set up accounts as appropriate for users of the software.
• Coordinate with software and hardware vendors to install upgrades and to solve problems as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the IT department to ensure best-practice support of hardware, database and network components.
