This PM position supports the organization’s IT operations along with acting as a liaison to billing, finance, and other business areas as needed. The PM’s responsibilities may include but are not limited to: supporting the existing systems including Allscripts EMR and PM and EZCap. Duties include deploying new releases and enhancements to existing systems, implementing new systems; implementing business process improvement in connection with system projects.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in healthcare systems;
- Extensive project management experience supporting healthcare system applications and/or other related system, including but not limited to: application design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training, and post-production support; able to deliver high-quality solutions on-time to support business needs.
- Experience with EMR systems; preferably one or more of the following: Allscripts PM, Allscripts EMR, other professional billing, or other EMR systems.
- Ambulatory registration and revenue cycle experience
- Software development life cycle (SDLC) experience
- Reporting applications and interfaces experience;
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, including leadership skills, high-quality oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills;
Responsibilities:
- Working with project stakeholders on setting vision and scope of responsibilities for team; setting priorities for tasks and deliverables;
- Initiating and maintaining contact with customers to identify and document system requirements that best support their business requirements;
- Managing projects to support the goals and objectives set forth by designated business areas; this may entail coordinating resources and timelines. In addition, projects and tasks may include implementation of new system releases, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and/or defect corrections.
- Providing status reports to management; alerting management to potential issues on the horizon and providing alternatives to mitigate risk
